A place to bring your friends… Since we first opened back in 1999, our goal has been to serve delicious, authentic Tex-Mex cooking to our friends and neighbors using the freshest ingredients in a fun, upbeat setting that makes you want to return again and again. And we do mean friends and neighbors! Regulars who eat with us everyday, some since the day we opened. Friends who bring in their friends, family, co- workers – people they’ve raved to about us – to try everything from real Texas Barbecue from our smoker to our home-made sangria to our special Pollo a la Brasa, rotisserie chicken served with our own spicy yellow pepper sauce. They come to Cactus Café because in our kitchen, everything is made to order. All food is prepared daily in house, even our chips and salsa – so every morning our crew starts early, cooking soups, baking empanadas, smoking brisket, making guacamole. They come to Cactus Café because we’re a family. Many of our servers and hombres in the kitchen have been with us ten years or more and people love to watch them working, watch their orders sizzle on the grill in our open kitchen.
